Steve has made quite a name for himself in the fitness industry, achieving many awards and acknowledgments for his accomplishments. He has trained a variety of clients ranging from ages 6 to 80 in over 8 years in the health and fitness industry. He assists clients in many aspects of health, fitness, weight loss, performance training, nutrition, and more.
Steve is known for his practical approach to training and blending the many benefits of corrective exercise into highly metabolic conditioning and fat loss programs. Among other things, Steve specializes in functional fat loss, sports performance, golf fitness, injury prevention/post rehabilitation, kettlebell training, and lifestyle coaching. Steve has been mentored by, and continues to learn from the best professionals in the industry, bringing the most cutting edge programs to his clients.
Jared has designed and successfully implemented an improved social support system that smoothes and cements the transition to healthy lifestyle choices. He is dedicated to bettering himself through evidence based research and continuing education which, in turn, improve the lives and health of his clients.
With a diversity of goals, from weight management, cardiovascular fitness, improved agility, strength, and flexibility, to lowered blood pressure and cholesterol levels, Jared’s clients have seen superior results with his methods. Mike Robertson is the President of Robertson Training Systems, co-owner of Indianapolis Fitness and Sports Training, and performance coach for the Indy Eleven professional soccer team. As of 2014, he’s officially been in the fitness industry for 14 years. In that time, he’s done and seen a little bit of everything. From 2000-2002 he was an assistant/volunteer strength and conditioning coach at Ball State University.
During that same time, he completed his Masters Degree in Sports Biomechanics. Mike spent the next three years in Ft. Wayne, Indiana, where he headed up the Athletic Performance Center. This is where Mike was really introduced to the assessment process, physical therapy, rehabilitation, and corrective exercise as a whole. This definitely was not his comfort zone at the time, but he learned a ton there and this helped really broaden his scope as a trainer and coach.
In 2005, Mike teamed up with Mike Dodd to form Custom Fitness, a high-end, in-home personal training company. There, he got a firm appreciation for what it was like to work in a truly one-on-one setting, often with adults in their 40′s and 50′s. Then in 2008, Mike and Bill Hartman decided it was time to team up and open their facility, Indianapolis Fitness and Sports Training (IFAST).
Mike has trained everyone from weekend warrior to professional and Olympic caliber athletes, and IFAST has been named one of the Top 10 Gyms in America by Men’s Health magazine twice.
Jim Laird has been working as a Strength and Conditioning Coach helping clients achieve their goals since 1997. He has 4 years of Division One coaching experience and over a decade of working with clients in the private sector. He has worked with everyone from housewives who just want to look good and feel good, to professional athletes in the NFL, LPGA, and MLB; his most notable client being Scott Downs who is currently with the Kansas City Royals, and is going on his 13th year in the MLB. Jim has helped dozens of young athletes achieve athletic scholarships to Division 1 schools and also trains a team of female Powerlifters, The Miss Fits. As an elite level Powerlifter, Jim pushed his body to the limit for years, and now understands the difference between working out to be healthy, and working out to achieve a high level performance goal, and he want to help others do the same. Jim’s motto of “Training Smarter, Not Harder” has earned him the respect and recommendation of numerous orthopedic surgeons and physical therapists.
Pat Rigsby is the Co-Owner of the several of the most prominent brands in the fitness industry including the Fitness Consulting Group, Fitness Revolution, Athletic Revolution and the International Conditioning Association. Lucy Hendricks is a graduate of the Lexington Healing Arts Academy Personal Training program. She has her FMS certification and is also a certified Restorative Breathing Coach. She is a bright, young coach who, at the age of 23, has already had the opportunity to study underneath great coaches and physical therapists like Jim Laird, Lois Laynee, Mike Robertson and Bill Hartman.
Lucy’s journey into personal training and her passion for helping clients started with an internship with Jim Laird four years ago, and she hasn’t looked back since. For the last three years, she’s been an integral part of the J&M Strength and Conditioning team, working with hundreds of clients each week, making a huge impact in all of their lives. Lucy is very passionate about helping clients look better and feel better thought good movement and sound nutrition, and is excited to continue expanding her knowledge in the years to come.
Lucy is an up-and-coming coach who specializes in Restorative Breathing. She is passionate about teaching clients how to breathe optimally to increase fitness, ability to recover and overall health and well-being.
Between massage therapy and personal training Dave has been working with the human body for almost 10 years. Every day he wakes up and asks “how can I serve my clients the best way possible.” With that question has led him into an endless journey of self exploration and education. David’s passion for learning is one of a kind. Since he did not have a formal college education due to four years serving our country as an army infantry solider, he now has dedicated thousands of hours studying and traveling to ensure he has the most up to date knowledge for his clients. He has a way with others that has produced countless success stories with hundreds of people.
Over the last five years David has become the head trainer at Complete Fitness Results. He also has become one of the top large group instructors in the country. His rare gift helps him orchestrate groups more efficiently than anyone. He marries the worlds of doing it right and having fun like a Mozart conducting a perfect symphony. If you ever have the pleasure of meeting Dave, it is an experience that you will not soon forget.
